19's or not? - Click HERE for Original Thread

This guy I know in Toronto is selling his 19X8 O-Z Anteres for $1500 and I'm thinking of picking them up ... they've barely been used and they come with Yokohama AVS Sport tires with 85% tread left ....seems like a pretty good deal .. but I'm not sure if I want to give up the performance edge of my O-Z's .. but on the other hand they are 19's ...and I've always liked the Anteres.

here is a pic of the rims on his car www.augustinefan.com

If you are modifying your car for shows and daily driving I would say yes but if you have racing in mind either keep your rims that you have now or get some cheap ones.Definately hot rims Spencer.

I think I'm gonna buy them .. but I'll find out tomorrow if he is still selling them ... he had ordered winter tires for them on friday thinking that no one was going to buy them ... so he said he would check to see if he could cancel it so he could sell them to me :fingersx:

Thanks for the input guys ... I think I'll keep the Superleggera's just in case I want to do some autoX or something in the IS.

those are sweet get them if you can.

I guess the tire shop gave him a hard time for trying to cancel it so he's still getting the tires ... and he's not going to sell the rims now. ..... so that kinda sucks... oh well.

silverTEG
too bad, those rims were tight.

yeah man that sux, i have a 300ZX and i am looking to get 19's, and i was looking at the Konig Verdicts and the OZ Antares, absolutely beautiful, but sadly enough, i'd hafta dick around with spacers and billets, because of the offset of the wheel as compared to my car, so could do it but the integrity of the wheel was gonna be sacrificed, so i went wit DAAT 19" instead,, but anyway if you can still pick those up, that would be incredible value, and they are gorgeous wheels too

btw for those wondering the price of those, at Kal-tire in edmonton, 19" yokohama avs sport wheels 235/35 cost about $1700 JUST FOR RUBBER.. the rims i'm not 100% positive, but i think you'd be looking at about $3300 or there abouts :blue:
