Any of you guys think it would be possibel to build a 12sec drag car for a budget of $5000. It's got to be street legal.

Would that be 5K in mods? or including the price of the car? with 5k in mods it would depend what you started with. if it included the price of the car i would say the only way it would be a 12 second sled would be if it was pushed off a big cliff <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://asianet.ca/images/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> I have less than that in mods in my GN and it should go mid to high 11's if i wanted to do a bonzi launch. As it sit's now, my best is a 12.22@114 on radials (not dr's).
my next mod will be PnP'd iron heads, planning on about 2k to do and should make her go up around 118ish MPH in the quarter (at same boost level 25psi in third) |

With a 250 shot of nitrous in a CRX , you'll need to change all the engine internals if you don't wanna see a mushroom cloud suddenly appear above your car.
