For you Animal Lovers out there. Dialup Beware =) - Click HERE for Original Thread

I went to the Zoo today for some Animal Behavior Studies with a friend of mine, I'll post a few pics for you animal lovers out there. Some of these shots took a lot of standing around, waiting for just the right moment (like the polar bear and snow leopard shots) I was at the zoo from 9-3:30. Hope you like!

The bald eagle is my favorite. What an awesome bird. Only thing I don't like is the mesh cage as a background, it's kinda sad.

I didn't bring a tri-pod/monopod contrary to what most are thinking, just too much of a pain in the ass to lug around the zoo.

Hope this helps :)

Manual focus actually, you cant have it on auto at the zoo cause it will focus on the cage/glass and not the subject. Just gotta be fast man, thats all I can say :)
