does anybody know how to turn off the function where it remembers what you have searched for say on google for example. e.g Say you type "car information" and assoon as you type the letter C it brings up "car information"
I clicked yes to have it on by accident when I reinstalled windows yesterday. |

I'll take a guess and say its the "Use inline AutoComplete" option.
Go to Tools...Internet Options, then go to the Advanced tab and turn this option off. |

Once you do MrHeavyFoot's instructions, go to the Content tab, click the Auto Complete button, click off the check marks there, click the Clear Forms button, then OK. Then, go to the General Tab, and click "Clear History".
That should cover all your tracks.
