Just a word of caution.
SCC Calgary on July 17 is also the Stampede weekend. Very likely if you do not book hotel rooms early, you'll be left sleeping in your race/show car!

Glenmore Inn always has discounted rates for Race City pariticipants/racers/etc
I believe the last time I was there...was about $75/night for a room in the Garden (cheaper section), discounted from something like $120/night. |

| Just a little tip, doesn't matter where you go always ask for a corporate rate for hotel rooms. It doesn't matter who you tell them you're with, although hospital conferences work well, just tell them something. We rented a $150 room in Van for half price purely on the "corporate rate". :bthumbup: |

All I have to say is good luck trying to get a discounted hotel rate during the closing weekend of the stampede.
I've called atleast a half dozen hotels and I've been given rates between $129 - $189/night. That is also taking into consideration group rate (since I'm booking 20 rooms), as well as, any applicable "corporate" rates.
One word of advice, book now or you WILL be sleeping in your car. |
