Patience - Click HERE for Original Thread

REFLUX
When something comes up in your relationship, do you guys&girls ever get impatient?

not in a bad way, but impatient in the sense that it's important to you & that you want to talk about it right away, not later.

I seem to get impatient very often; always wanting to talk NOW, see her NOW, anxious to be with her kinda stuff

*sigh* i need to learn how to wait (and not pull my hair out while doing it hehe)

I think everyone is a little like that when it comes to something important to them. I am a very impatient person also, so we'll pull our hair out together.

Wrong, that sounds very bad you two naughty people!!! ^_^

I guess my two bits on patience is that patience is rewarding... EXTREME patience is even MORE rewarding :)

REFLUX
Andy: explain (the extreme patience part) pls

BlueTurboEGG
Hmmm, "Extreme patience".

Something that happens that doesn't meet with your approval, and you think about the possible solutions.

One of the being a knock down, argument...
The other being, you could just blow it off because your relationship means more that just trying to prove a point.

Ofcourse there are varying degrees of this. But I guess the biggest thing is, to be forgiving.

Because when you forgiving, it won't be forgotten... (and if it does, a gentle poke to the memory doesn't hurt ^_^ )

For me, there lies the problem :P

I forgive AND forget! :( Soooo, when something DOES come up....I have nothing to come back with cuz I already forgot about it! LOL.

Anyways, Maria's been gone for quite some time now that I already forgot what I wanted to tell her...LOL.

REFLUX
Rommel: guys always forget (at least i do)
so ur not alone :D

sometimes keepin a journal or CARVING it into ur memory can do u some good ;)

s2oooR
Ive actually thought about that, u know? But it wont look too pretty to pull out your little black book and refer back to certain incidents...lol ^_^

BlueTurboEGG
Then fire up that memory box. You're gonna need it :)

Do some thought intensive games or something, don't be such a jock all of the time! :P

*nod*

LOL

u jus gotta find things that will trigger your memory, i like association

example:

u get mad @ her for flirting, but hold it back & forgive her
"I" would think: "Do unto others as you wish others do unto you"

so next time "I" flirt, i'll remember that, think "Maria wouldnt' like it if she saw me flirting, just like how i was upset with her wen SHE was flirting...and then i forgave her"

kind of complicated i guess....but it works for me *shrug*

s2oooR
Thats too confusing for me but I think ive put alot out on this forum about our relationship.....can any of u think of a time where I forgave her or didnt mention something that maybe some guys would have brought to her attention?

Remember that little fight that me and her got into on msn? was there anything in thereee??? LOL....

I swear guys, my memory sucks for that kinda stuff just because I dont like holding grudges? By the same token though, she says to me that I dont remember anything unless it has to do with sex...LOLOLOL

REFLUX
yeh...sorry bout the complicatednessnessnessness
:D

i'm a lil crazy taht way ;)
