who will be NEW to riding next year? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Mr_Wibbly
bikes seem to be the newest fad, it seems like everyone is talking about buying one. so just out of curiosity, how many of you are going to be FIRST TIME riders next season?

MR240
Maybe me...if I can afford it..

This is what I want:

its an 86 or 87 yamaha fz 750...they are old but still kind of have a new shape to it and they are pretty cheap...I have seen them for $1500-$2500

Can anyone tell me what insurance would be like for an 18 year old newb..oh and does anyone have info on the "pay as you ride" system

Mr_Wibbly
i pay 330/yr on state farm.

MR240

that is awesome! i can totally afford that..

also does anyoen know of a fzr 600 or a fz 750 for sale?

I'd really like to start riding. I'll need to get my class 6 to go with my class 5. Money will be an issue but i'm saving lots these days so lets hope.

does anybody know where i can take a motorcycle training course? I don't know anyone who rides so i figure i'll have to take a course.

:dunno:

I'll probably sign up for the hell of it this summer. Been procrastinating on this for awhile. Doubt I'd invest in a bike for awhile but m'eh... somethign to do and maybe I'll change my mind.
