Off topic discussion but...
Do you have a friend or friends that seem to always be trying to out-do you?
Random examples:
- You buy a place, they're all of a sudden looking at "show homes"
- You buy a TV, they go buy one a size bigger and tell you all about it
- You buy a car, they start modding their's just enough to be faster.
yada yada yada.
Well, I do. It doesn't bother me so much that they do it, just that they try to mirror my purchases, and always make SURE that they let me know that they got something better.
YAWN. It gets old.
Maybe I should just keep step up my spending till my friend runs out of credit :beer: |

yeah, that'd annoy the crap outta me after a while. that's when you make a point of buying ridiculously expensive shit that you know you can return, and get them to do it somewhere that you can't. |

Or just lie to them about some really expensive shit you've ordered and let them run up a huge tab......that way you don't waste your money on the shit.

| We have friends like that.....they don't go out and buy the same stuff as us.......but they always have to make sure we know about the trip they just booked or the new "whatever" they just bought.........so they have money....big whoop.......gets old real fast. What I love is they buy so much stuff but after the novelty wears off and everyone has seen it, it just sits in the garage and collects dust. |
