Whats your overall plan for the car?
are you looking for an everyday car just to get from point a to point b? or are you planning on building it up? |

s13 coupe> civic eg
More power, better handling, better looking ;)
It depends on what you want. |

although i preffer the s13 hatch to the coupe, i definately preffer the coupe to the honda.
s13 pros:
-rarer
-rwd
-nicer looking
civic pros:
-easy to rice
-mad props from geeks who know nothing about cars |

| well for both cars i would eventually want to build them up and do an engine swap. for the s13 coupe i would want to SR20 swap and for the EG hatch i would want to do maybe a b16b or b17a1. i like both cars but i'm just not sure about how much i'll be spending in building up these cars, and i was just wondering which one is worth the money to build up. |

| Hearing this from a honduh guy, just get a S13. More potential, rwd and PLUS, you won't get bashed as much here. |

| If a car like darkman's appeals to you, EG for sure. Lightweight, quick and economical. Both are great cars, and have strengths and weaknesses. Decide what you want the car to do, and that will make be your decision. |

| well right now i'm leaning towards the EG, i like the shape of it and thes style. i don't plan to do any crazy kits or stuff, maybe a type r style front/rear lip and side skirts, and maybe even a swap. |

| The first thing i would advise you to do is try out both cars, look for a dealership that let you go by yourself (ifyour lucky to find one that will let you do that) and do some spirited driving. You will see a big difference between the handling of both car and what kind of things are good about both. I was also considering buying a 99 civic hatch or integra , but the RWD handing got me to buy a 240 sx. Parts for a civic are much cheaper and more abundant than for a 240. Both have great potentials for swaps b16, b18, and h22 for the honda. For the 240 you pretty much can drop in any rwd nissan engine with little or no modification. And fwd gets boring after a while too. Hope you find the right one for you. |

| the thing with a 240 is i like the RWD goodness but i'm just afraid i won't have the money to fix it up if i need to do so. |

| but true i need to go test drive them to get the feel for myself, but don't really have time due to school. |

For $5000 you are going to find a much nicer Silvia than 240sx or EG hatch. Take a look through the page, talk to Chris or Christian and let them know what you're looking for. There are quite a few examples for under that price.
