Why did that one car in teh 780 booth have WICKED airbrushing on half assed paint?

And to bad teh gt40 was a replica.

I'm dissapointed that all the cool cars werent even here.
new mustang, new gto, the new Cobra ( I mean really, its the logo for the show, so at least have it there).

CTS V was nice same with the caddy vert wsa nice too.

SSR is an ugly pile of shit.

RX8 has real nice seats in it, dissapointed that some pos plastic peice is covering almost the entire engine pay.

Thats all for now.

MeXx
i think that plastic peace acts as a heat shield for the hood

Snowcrash
They didn't have the Saab 9-2x areo, bastards, they had in in Toronto I heard.

That Maybach was sweeeeet, for a limo!

most newer import engines I have seen have a lot of plastic covering the engine bay.

take for instance...a Lexus RX330
the entire engine bay is plastic when just the valvecover showing (basically)
can't say imports are cheap ;)

Half assed paint? Dude there's nothing half assed on Eric's car. Granted the base is not as nice as the red coated gold civic next to his, but that would pull attention away from the airbrushing itself.

Where is the V8less booth? I looked didn't see it?:dunno:

My personal opinion.
I think the airbrushing was great. Like wow.
But the base looked like it was done in the back yard with some tremclad srapy cans.
It didnt even look as nice as a factory paint.

But thats me, if you think otherwise, great, I'm happy for you.

The V8less booth was downstairs in the middle.

POX
ssr looks like garbage
the strongest showing from domistices was from dodge/crysler
and the best jap would have to be nissan/infinty
and best euro woulb have to be vw (bring the phaton... wow.. and haveing an RS6 there)

hearse

Although those vents just look out of place.

Mekanik22
The airbrushing is cool. But I have to agree, those blue vents don't blend in... But it's not my car...

POX
i kinda liked them... i dono why though.. i just did..:dunno:

2003specv

Same reason most cars had their shift knobs and heater controls out. The general public is retarded.

lol, no respect for peoples property, everything would get damaged

and the airbrushing was awesome:bthumbup: but agreed that blue on the vents was a little off:dunno:

S2000_rider
Attended this past Saturday. Worth the $10 I guess. I felt bad for the Black Viper...Specifically stated NOT to touch the car but it had more handprints on it then a pornstar. I was hoping to see an NSX but seeing the new S2K was nice enough .

bmwboyz
That Red airbrushed prelude is the most gorgeous lude i have seen in edmonton, i must admit thou the blue mesh is kinda odd on a red car, but hey the whole point is to be differnt right?

SilverZ24
Show was good overall IMO. It is always fun to sit in everything from a shitty Kia to a sexy Audi and even a minivan. :)

It was too bad though that V8less didn't have nearly as much space as last year and that they didn't have some better cars.

2HIGH~PSI
that huge infinity suv was somethign else, it was like the lexus LX470, huge and all they wanted was like $70,000 while the lexus is something like $140,000:blink:

the car show was pretty good tho, sad that the 04 mustangs couldn't make it, or the new gt40, soo a little dissappointed with ford, but it's a ford and a domestic..who isnt dissappointed with it:p

newtuner
how come BMW wasn't there or did I miss a hall?

Anonymoose
Not sure why it wasn't there. Didn't really notice until on the way home I realized I didn't see a Mini which I figured they'd really be trying to push.

Xpnsve
DAMN! I wish I went now!

BMW hasn't been there for years. Apparently there was a dispute regarding floor space size/location and they haven't returned since

newtuner
I thought they(BMW) were last year, or was it two years ago?

Honda_Honey
I have to say that the out of all the race inspired seats in the newer sport compact cars the most comfortable seats I sat in were the ones in the SRT4. Man those bitches hold you in.

Bavaria BMW hasn't attended the Edmonton show for at least the last THREE years. I'm positive because I always look for them. They were definately NOT there for 2002, 2003, and 2004.

I can't remember if they were there in 2001 or not, but I guess not based on what JDMJOSH1 just said.

POX
i always though they dont go cause theres only one dealership.. and the head BMW guys dont think its worth the money... but i dono :dunno:

Agreed.
its sick when your at shows and people think it's their giving right to fuck with everybody's shit and touch this and that.
Makes me so mad.
Last year when we came to the show I actually got mad at a few people when I was sitting in the IS300!
