Hey Everyone, i have been asked this quite a bit so i decided to post information about the club so that our new members can get a feel for what the club is all about and where we plan on going.
Let me just start of by saying that IT IS ALL UP TO THE MEMBERS TO SEE HOW FAR THE LETHBRIDGE CAR COMMUNITY GOES. Lethbridge itself is the 3rd biggest city in Alberta, and has potential for a large car community. I personally have not seen a car enthusiast club in Lethbridge since a club called LethbridgeStreetRacing, but that does not exist anymore. I also believe it was aimed for older/domestic cars. So i am going around trying to recruit members so that we will have a large car community and will have access to lots of information, knowledge, and ideas. It is up to the members what you guys want to start doing, there has already been mentioning of an autoX event, or some sort of 1/4 mile drag event. I am totally up for this but it will unfortunatly take time. We need members in order to basically do anything. Once we have members, the environment on the forums and in meets will be much better and more worth while.
This club is for everyone who has an interest in cars. Anyone who is a car enthusiast can join. Even if one does not have a nice souped up car, it doesnt mean that they dont have good ideas and/or INSTINCTS about car modifications. :bthumbup:
Myself and a few other car club leaders have been talking about alot of things/events in store for the summer. We do have HUGE plans for shows etc, but the Lethbridge car community needs to wake up so that we can participate in all these fun events.
As far as shows go, if everything comes together and the INSTINCT club takes off soon, we can participate in a HUGE show in Calgary on May 15th (see other post or go to www.v8less.com for info). We have a chance to have a booth and showcase some of Lethbridge's sweetest rides.
So basically, i dont want the club to be filled with sweet cars and only swet cars. When i go tag vehicles, i tag anyones with modifications, because that shows me that they are somewhat interested in their cars and we all know how addictive modding is lol :p
So if there are any other questions, please post below, or start your own post, and if you are a new member, please introduce yourself and we can all get the Lethbridge Car Community rolling. This is the start of a great thing that will eventually become larger. Everyone will know what INSTINCT is. You are all a part of it and are considered to be the first members in this adventure....
