well...since I totally forgot that Google is the solution to all questions (http://bmwclub.ca/northernab/) let me ask another one....
how's the membership of the BMW club???
does it primarily consist of rich, cocky, typical BMW drivers ;) and what years do their bimmers fall into? (early 80s, 90s, 00s) |

Terry I contemplated joining but I think they have a different mind set in their membership.
From what I've seen they mostly middle aged people.

LOL no man, I've still got my RX-7 but I'm currently doing some hardcore reading to see if BMWs suit me or not :)

| I too looked into joining them, but just to get in on the driving schools, but in their driving schools you have to use your own car. This isn't bad, but bmw.ca's driving schools - that are offered in Vancouver, TO and Montreal cost the same and you get to use new M3s and 330s. Damn, I wish they came to Alberta.... |

When the SMG first came out. BMW Driver's Training had a silver M3 touring the country. Still prefer a 6-speed but that SMG was pretty cool. ;) 220kph in no time flat :eek: |

From what I've heard, you have some pull. Can you persuade BMW to have a driving school here or in Calgary? They have been saying that they are going to bring in to Calgary ever since I've owned one....
The SMG is amazing. I do like rowing thru the gears myself though... |

I thought Calgary BMW used to have driving schools at Race City but it might be like the BMWCC events where you have to bring your own car.
Hmm maybe we should plan a group excursion to Vancouver to partake in their school. |
