| trevor, they go around to the places that are close by and thats about it, I parked underground in the hp center late on friday, saturay when they were closed but the sensors were on as well as sunday( same week end) on sunday they came down into the parkade and gave warnings. but whatever I am not going to get into a pissing match |

I park in the Muni as well, 4G63PWR - haven't seen your Talon. Maybe we come at different times,....?
I also just finished my midterms and DESTROYED my BUS422 Managerial Finance test (83%!). Management is a good middle of the road route to take if you can't get into/have no desire for Finance/Accounting. You can specialize in one aspect of management or you can give yourself a broad skill set.:bthumbup: I think it's alot more flexible than Fin/Acct, as well

Its a great course, but their is lots of group projects and a few presentations to do. Its a great course for almost any job aspect for the fact that you gain a good amount of training in how businesses opperate. I enjoy it though, like VerbotenZ34 said, its a mix of everything, accounting, marketing, and finance. I love how you can take electives. I have to do 422 next semester, doing managerial accounting now, 77% on the midterm.
I'm acctualy driving my dad's Chrysler Dynasy right now, my car will be stored untill the end of March. If you drive up to the second level its almost impossible to miss the car, if its there, becuase their is no one else that parks in that area. |

Special circumstances. Im self-employed. So with my parking application I brought in a business card, wrote a business letter explaining why a parking stall would benefit me, and then I got a letter from one of the companys I contract out to.(recommending a parking pass could get me to and from work faster)
a girl i know just claimed that she plays hockey and has to stay at school late at night.. so she needed a parking stall so she wouldnt have to walk far late at night..... and they gave her one that day! |

| Well im a fellow nait student. We are full of dick in our class.. not a single girl. Im in Electronic Service Tech. I used to park in bums-ville bumfuck way over in the residential by the ETA, but now, I just got a parking pass! look for me in that big 12 floor parkade, im usually on the roof, just look for the silver GA with a partially busted up rear bumper. Take a look at my pass as you do, I bet you'll love it as much as I do. |

I don't park in the Muni parkade anymore, because most days I'm only at school for an hour or two this semester (and they wouldn't refundmy money, either, because the semester had already started:mad: )
Besides, with so many board members going to NAIT, we kinda have an unofficial Neighbourhood Watch for each others cars.

I drive the Red sunbird thats half cavalier. and for the record, its got a bone stock 4cyl with 292,000kms... stock interior... no stereo, just a cd player which i keep with me.
so any theives out there dont even waste your time, i dont know why people still break into my car...? theres nothing of value in there...maybe my half-empty AXE deodorant bodyspray :dunno: |

| Well put it this way, if you really want to steal a car, you will no mater what, but having a nice alarm does help, god I love my setup for mine. Its kinda like my buddies alpine, but it doenst have all the goodies he has, like the bubble thing when you can have your windows down and it sets off the alarm, or the trunk release, but it does have the two way and backup battery:) |

I'm not sure how much the shuttle costs the school for ~8 months and their arrangement with the Muni, but I figure after those are paid for its all gravy - their overhead is nil.

If you want to park at Kingsway and you come back after class to find a ticket, or your car towed, head inside the mall, buy a chocolate bar and proceed to tear the people at security a new one. If you're a paying customer at the mall they are not allowed to ticket you.

You can get parking passes for as low as $30 on campus.
I think the ticket dispensers are 2-3/day for parking - and there is some free parking around too.
Plus everywhere around campus (Curling club, church, etc...) sell parking to students as well on a monthly basis. |

Yeah, if you're quick on the draw you can find parking close to NAIT on private property. I always seem to miss out on opportunities though - I don't know how many times propert owners told me "oh, some other student got that space this morning"
