I just saw "Bowling for Columbine". Its a documentary about America's facination with Guns. At the end it's an anti-gun documentary.

This was about the best documentary I've seen. Stats: Canadians killed by firearms: Somthing like 200. Americans: >11,000.

I like guns.

Its a good watch. It has some good information, however, I think he makes Canadians look a little too good.

I bet the yanks didn't enjoy that movie all that much.

Bowling for Columbine has a polarizing effect - either you love it or you hate it. I personally liked it, but I found Moore was heavy handed with his points at times.

What a ghey movie. I am against guns and even I could see the bias and misinformation in that piece of shit.

Flex
Really though.....he was just showing peoples attitudes towards guns. It wasn't scripted so the people he talked to made his point for him.

Bad Egg
Michael Moore is a joke. Everything he does is tainted by his political agenda and his "documentries" are far from factual. Hell, we have gun control up the wazoo here and a guy shot a cop just a few blocks from my place last week.
If you edit enough tape and are clever enough you can make any point you want. That makes it little more than propaganda. Check out this link for more info on "Columbine"

Moore's intentions are noble, but he's gotta realize that he's not helping the problem with censored media by selecting what he airs and what he doesn't. I personally thought it was a great documentary, opened my eyes to a few things, but Moore blew his credibility out the window with some of the bullshit he taped. I myself am for both sides getting their equal input on a topic, but you're not going to see anyone making documentaries promoting domestic violence(unless it's a Hollywood action flick I suppose).

On a little side note, when I saw this movie about 2 years ago during its firtst run at the Garneau, it was the first movie I've ever seen people applauding for......it was a little surreal.

I was sitting at work the other day(actually I was trying to take a nap on my lunchbreak) and some people were talking about the movie. One guy was going on about how Moore was a lifetime "responsible" member of the NRA so he went to talk to Charlton Heston about gun control in America. I wanted to get up and slap the guy and demand he tell me what movie he was watching that he got that bullshit from. But alas I was tired and didn't want to get into it.

he does his documentrys that way because he needs to get his point accros and amaricans have been raised to only pay attion to things that are slick and flashy.... so he makes them that way... pure facts make work in the rest of the world but he targest amaricans and they need flash

Canada's population 31.5 million
United States Of America's population 292.5 million

now this alone would only make 2000 deaths in US even to canadas 200.

take into effect that what 3 or 4 cities in the states out populate Canada and things get out of hand real easy.

You cant compair the two equally.
One the states didnt waste 2 billion + on a gun registry that the criminals still arent going to use it.

That was one of the best sets of comedy I've ever seen.
