| back seats were an option for the second gens. Most of them didn't come with it. My old rx7 that i had, had back seats, all i can say is, they were useless. a Midget would have problems sitting back there! needless to say my new rx7 has no back seats and its way better! |

You don't lose luggage space, as the back seats fold down.
You do lose the lockable compartments though.

| I've had two 18 year old girls sit in the back seat of my 86 rx7 that i had all the way from edmonton to regina... Took 8 hours to get there because of crappy weather, and they had to ride in the back all the way back to edmonton again! haha suckas!:p :beer: |
