K, whats up with downloading songs now? I hear that they are sueing everyone and their dog for downloading music in the states, and I also hear that they are bringing it to Canada, or it is already here. Is this true?
My buddy told me that they can't sue people here in Canada because the government hasn't passed the bill or whatever it is, that allows them to do this.
Basically, I just want to know if I can still download music on Kazaa safely, and for how much longer? Thought maybe some of you might know.
Thanks. |

this is covered under the sticky at the top of this forum.
the short of it is, in canada we are allowed by law to download and copy music as we see fit due to the amount of tax we pay on blank media, there is a portion of this tax set aside by the canadian gov't to compensate the artists |
