just go to the pet store, you can buy your average run of the mill 10 gallon tank for around 15 bucks then you need to add accesories. you are going to be looking at around $100 for everything you need

I was just down there and I was wanting to start a salt water tank so I need to start with the min. of a 50 gal. Tank. So that will bring a little bit of clearity to this. I'm looking for a 50 gallon tank.

whatever place told you that you need a 50 gallon tank is retarded, cause i have a 35 gallon salt water tank and its been good for over a year. but then again, i want bigger, so 50 is good to start but if you dont want that or have the room then its not necessary. and make sire if this is your frist time with salt water fish... read up ALOT! go to big al's and learn from them. it takes a long time for the water to be ready for fish.

dont know of any sites, but big al's is a good place to start. they can tell you how to set up your water, and what to do. and when your ready to buy fish the BEST place to go is saltwater fantasies. its a guy on the northside that has the fish in his basement. hes a very knoledagble guy, and has WAY better prices than everyone else.
