Blue Jbody from EMDA ! - Click HERE for Original Thread

Nightstalker
Hey, does anyone know what happened to the blue carvi from EMDA, I was rolling past the airport last night and it was sitting there. Jumped the curb and it was SCREWED UP. aluminum from the rims all over the place, front end suspension was destroyed on the drivers side.. I have pictures. I will see if I have room to host them somewhere.

Was it stolen ?

MeXx
ya i saw the pics it was pretty messed up

gillAteen
Tried to take the corner a LITTLE too fast!
:(

stuff
Sorry to hear that Rob!

So what happened? Is everyone alright? Is it repairable? Hopefully you can salvage the rims because you will have a hard time finding replacements as they are discontinued?

Nightstalker
There were pieces of aluminum that looked like rim all over the grass by the curb.

gillAteen
Yea,no one is hurt,thanks!
I tore something out of the tranny underneath,i don't really know how the wheels are, didn't look that close,i had to walk home and call a tow truck. It' s not even close to driveable, and the left fender is crumpled.
Dumb mistake, but i'm sure it's all fixable.
Rob

I saw the J at EMDA and it looked good, too! At least is was only steel though!

J-Bodies are not sports cars, and therefore not meant to be driven like one.

Glad you're ok!

Nightstalker
I know that your not going to want to hear this man, but a 300zx is really over wieght for a sports car.. Especially the last generation of them.

What is happening with the car ? cops ask any questions ?

Trying to get a rise outta me, eh? :D Surely a civic owner's opinion really matters to me...

The Z32 has always been more of a GT than a pure sports car, and I don't recall ever claiming the contrary.

Nightstalker
flame wars is all what 780 is about isn't it.. ;)

ya, well tonight I went cruzen with a buddy of mine and we stopped there again to check out the skid marks so we could try and figure it out a little better.. I know have 4 pieces of enkie rim sitting here. on of them is the outter lip edge. Its about 8 inches of rim and about a inch wide.. and then there is a piece that is 2 inches by a inch.. the other ones are pretty small though.. This really sucks man, I hope you can get it running again soon.

SplineZ
May the force be with you!

good thing it was only the pocketbook being hurt! :)

Z vs J... doesnt take too long for shit to be flung around here.. *shrug* oh well :)

You're forgetting his pride.

ChromeDragon
That sucks to hear Rob. Might you need a '56 Buick to get around in until your car is fixed? heh

Good to hear you're alright though.

Sorry To Here That Rob.I look forward to Seeing it When it's All Fixed up.

E-Z Motorsports
Such Tragidy

Thats why we at E-Z Motorsports tell everyone to take it easy and not to be in a hurry to put your rides on the road being that there is still a lot of sand and gravel from our FRIGID winter

Don't know if the BAD road conditions played a part in another upsetting episode in E-Town

But being that Rob took a turn chances are lots of left over winter evidience of supposing helpful traction materials played a big part in the UNCONTROLABLE turn

How IRONIC

Where are the F#%$ing City of EDMONTON Strret sweepers

Our thoughts are with u Rob and glad to hear it was only material parts in which we are sure is repairable and HAPPY to see you are okay and no one else especially family members were in the bad incidient including LITTLE ONES

We miss u at the shop !!!

The Team ;)

We Regret to have responded to this Tragidy at such a late date

DeathBy240
Why would you bold a word that you cannot spell?

gillAteen
Hey everyone,thanks for the concern!!:)
THe car is in the shop,$4300 damage, but it's all fixable, and fully insured.
I think now there are two shitty parts for me:
1)Car won't be fixed for powerama.
2)Rental car=chick car/gay car..... white sunfire!

I think the Cavi is the boy one of the two cars for sure.. sunfires are one of the biggest chick cars IMO.

BLK_LBL
 A J-body is a girls car? so what would a civic hatch be? a SHORT girls car?

fuk ROB, thats insane man, what happend??? gravel??

Xpnsve
There's no gravel on that road right now, I took it at 120 the other night.

There is however a wicked bump right on the turn that you have to watch out for!

Someone I know awile back let his friend drive his Cavi z34 or 32 whatever it is. He was travelling across the low level bridge there coming downtown and says to my friend "I'll show you what this car can really do" ..... Then he slams it into the rail on the turn.

 ----- what a gaylord

hope you fix your cav up!

Yeah, calling it a Cavi Z34 is like calling an EK HB a S2000:rolleyes:

What do you think of this guy slamming the cav into the rail..

:dunno:

SplineZ
Not the smartest thing ive heard a person do.. Probly not the cars fault tho, but the loose nut behind the wheel..

Maybe when he said "I'll show you what this car can do" he really meant he was going to show you its crash-worthiness.
