Got a new MAF under warranty :) while doing the ECU recall.

Very nice people at service :) Very friendly. Called to update me on the work.

Everything done in one day.

Tried to upsell me on the 24k service. $114 for oil, rotate tires and check brakes/fluids? hmmmm. No thanks.

Oh well.

Cheers

im sure the service is good but the managers an a$$hole. when my dad was looking to buy a new altima the manager wanted my dad to pay extra for somethign that came on the car stock. and he had already put a deposit on it. anyways a long story they had a couple words and the police were involved.

They are always assholes at Nissan dealerships. Especially the parts manager at Eriksen, that old fucker acts like he doesnt even want to sell you a part.

I've been impressed with the parts person I go to, the service guy and the salesperson that I have dealt with. I have no complaints about them at all.

I just went to the parts department at Eriksen today because I have a timing chain guide problem again. (this is after I replaced it last summer). My timing chain guide broke twice now (it's only plastic) and after going to westside nissan, they told me that there was no new part and that I should just get everything replaced (chain guides, gears etc) and see if that would fix the problem. I went over Eriksen and they had a new chain guide with a metal backing and new bolts and everything!!! Everyone else who I talked to looked at me like I was retarded when I told them that I thought there was a new part for this problem. I had no clue what I was going to do till the good guys down at Eriksen hopefully fixed my problem.:D

I always deal with Ross or Carl in the service department and have had great service. The follow up phone call system is pretty cool too, I had them call me a little while ago to tell me that my 49,000km service was coming up and to book my appointment..it was going in the next morning.

As for Mel ( service manager ) never had to deal with him and don't want too, always a bad thing when the manager needs to be in the picture.

Mike and Bonnie are great sales reps for Erickson, always willing to talk to me even though I already have my Spec V.

This is just another reason to by a Nissan

If you're going to the Ericksen Nissan parts counter, talk to Bill or Harvey. You'll get excellent service from them! I've never dealt with the Parts Manager (other than to say hi) and I've never needed to.

Bad Egg
I have owned 3 Nissans and the biggest fault I have found with them is the CRAPPY DEALERSHIP NETWORK they have. But, to give credit where it's due, I do buy my parts from an "old guy" at Ericksen because he has helped me. When a FSM was out of print for my car he recommended another model year and he told me it was the same thing. He was exactly right...
