Well, i like to get there around 9:00pm, I stick around for some time (like to stick around till about 10:30pm there so more people can show up).
I never stop at UC though, always just across at the tim hortons having doughnuts :p |

I kinda liked last year when we cruised to BPs first. We've gotta work towards getting all the people meeting at one spot though, too often people are taking off because there isn't a big group of cars when they show up. I know that the Cevo guys all hang out at the Air Museum now. We moved from there because people were complaining about there being no washrooms or food places close by.
What does everyone else think? Should we move back to the Air Museum? Personally I liked that lot.:dunno: |

| The reason it was held at UC was because to many people were bitching about stuff like no bathrooms at the airport. Moving it back there would just result in that happening again. |

I think UC is a good place to meet....
but I showed up around 9:30 - 10:00 and there was NO ONE there. People were at the Timmy's lot just south from UC.... if you're going to announce a Meet @ UC for a set time, then you should probably be meeting there.... I only knew to try Timmy's next b/c of past meets where we'd all go over to Timmys but for new comers how would they know and if they see no one at UC they think the meets a bust and keep on driving.....
In the future I suggest meeting at the place where you say you're going to meet, maybe announce it in this fashion
"Meet tonight - United Cycle, just south of Whyte on Gateway Blvd; Starts 10:00pm - we cruise probably around 11:00pm; bring FRS radios and a good attitude"
I dunno?! Just something so people know when and where we'll be and that we won't be there all night long.... :blink: |

I think that sticking around until 11:30 or so would be a little better too, let the stragglers show up before taking off.
So show up at UC at 10:30, cruise at 11:30, that's what I vote for. |

| I think uc is fine its central i love white ave and theres acces to all the city and u cant say u dont like the nice 3 lane roads on ither side of it. |

I like UC too, but the point of meeting on a main drag is to try and get more drop ins. I don't think you can get much better than that corner for that purpose. It's a huge lot, lots of stuff close by.
What does everyone else think about this? |

| Although I have never made it out to a meet at UC I think it is a great location. I'm going to start trying to make some of the meets come mid may. :) |

| So it is 3:00 on Friday and I just want everyone to know that the party is at UC tonight starting at 10:30. Cruise will happen later on at about 11:30. Don't be late. Earlier is better. There is no expected precipitation from Friday evening to Saturday evening: Says the Weather Network. If you want a ride out to the meet I'll be heading out in the Buick. You had mentioned you're only about 3 minutes away from my place, so it wouldn't be a problem. Just give my cell a call if you're still wanting to head out.
