If you are interested in attending the auto-x May 9th (sunday) please fill out the registration form. Spectators will also need to fill out the forms for entry to the base. Forms should be in by the end of April.
Payments will be made at the auto-x on the day of the event.

Not really considering they are putting a cap on how many participants can attend. I'd say its pretty good. And you will deffinetly get more then 2 runs in unlike last year:rolleyes: |

Yea well if you think $40 is steep for a full day event, but its not steep to pay $20 for a 10 minute go-kart race then ur nuts. (not to mention $40 for a 10 minute dyno run).
You will get a lot of runs, and with fewer people out there will most likely be fun runs etc. |

this is an auto-x.
The track is the same one that the NASCC uses as a lapping track. So its a good size.
The cost for our club to hold a lapping event just wouldn't work at this point, the insurance alone for a lapping event is huge in comparison to an auto-x event.
MAY 9th IS AN AUTOCROSS.
The track setup (pylons etc) may be a bit different. But its the same area. |

How many registrations so far, if you're looking at lap times in the 1:30 to 3:00 min range how many runs are you expecting each person to get. Are you running 2 cars at a time or just one, of course 2 staggered.
Can you buy a club membership at the autox? Then just pay $20 for the event. You have 3 events scheduled and I would like to attend more than one so a membership would save some money over a few events. |

people better come to this or you will regret it. $40 is not steep. You will get lots of runs, and come out of it a better driver and have a better understanding of your cars capabilities. You don't even have to push it hard if you don't want to. Drive at your own pace and to the extent that you a comfortable with. It will be an awesome day. If you don't come, you won't have any idea of how much fun something like this is.

Thanks guys for a great event, sorry I had to bail Mother's day and all. Got in a ton of runs in the first half alone, well worth it. I'm looking forward to your next event.
