I overheated my car this weekend and it's got a warped head most likely. what happened was a coolant line blew.
head was rebuilt a month ago with a new timing belt. car is still RUNNING(starts to overheat after about 30 minutes). body is in good shape has 230xxxkms
slowazzporshe had an inspection done before the overheat happened at prodrag and everything was fine
so if anyone wants to buy it to fix up or part out let me know.
only mods are a home depot intake, 2g manifold, MBC and boost guage.
I will be taking the stereo for my next car, but I will give you the stock CD player.
tranny does not grind. and you can still downshift into first gear (not a lot of talons can do this) with it most of the time. clutch was put in 1.5-2 years ago
thanks
-edit- blamo@shaw.ca - i rarely come on here so e-mail me please.
-edit again- does not blow smoke of any sort. nor does it have leaks |

You should've picked it up - it was an easy fix if the head gasket was gone, definetely worth the asking price if you wanted to keep the car. |

I was going to keep it and do the work myself, but I would have no car to drive in the meantime =\
o well, I'll be pickin gup another DSM in a few years for a race car
slowazz: yeah, I wish it hadn't went kaput. I think it was mad at me for selling it and tried to commit suicide  |

get a shop to do it for you and you're lookin at ~1000-1500?
but it's sold so meh. |
