I wish i could say i'm totally against old people driving... but i know for a fact that when i get old enough i shouldn't be driving i certainly won't think the same....
and forget any kind of legislation to go into effect, it's political suicide, Seniors have like 90% voter turn-out! |

seniors should be allowed to drive, but I do agree with re-testing them often. Checking their visual response/reflexes etc...
Car Video games would be good for this, have things jumpin out on a driving simulator and have the old people avoid em.

You can tell by her face that she hasn't yet seen him.
You can tell by the pitch of the car that she's not on the brakes.
You can tell by the position of the other cars and the pedestrians that the light has been red for at least 3 seconds.

| shes old, maybe she got confused and pressed the gas insted of the brake? but from the looks of the crack in the windsheld that guy is dead. the inital impact probably broke at least 1 leg, and if the impact with the windsheild didn't cause major brain trauma the impact with the road would have. i'm all for seniors getting retested:bthumbup: |
