WTB : turbo 5 spd sports car!!!!!!!!! - Click HERE for Original Thread

SlowAzzPorsche911T
Pretty open to options, i'm craving a car and it seems I can't find anything decent, must be in good running condition, must be able to pass a safety inspection, must nor need anything major, open to cars.. i was looking at the dsm family, rx-7's, z's and supra's willing to spend a max. of $6000 for the right car, a sunroof/t-tops/targa is much prefered, and ppl keep your eyes out, if I end up grabbin it, I'll throw something your way;)

blam
what about a turbo mr2?

For 6 G's?? Not likely. Maybe a supercharged AW11?

blam
oh shit, forgot about the price haha

blown_mr2
Good call on the turbo charged deuce though!!

SlowAzzPorsche911T
well i looked and looked guys, no supercharged at all, ok wel two, but both were 8000+, so right now I have a 180,xxx mkiii supra turbo in for inspection on monday, if that checks out then i'll grab it... my fingers are crossed cause if that doesn't go thru then it's back to looking again!

desperado
WAT YEAR IS THAT SUPRA THAT U FOUND?

Keith303
get a DSM, for 6k you can get a very nice 1g turbo AWD or FWD

SlowAzzPorsche911T
Keith, i've been lookin for dsm's and nada, i'm picky when it comes to them.. i NEED a sunroof or t-tops or something in my car as every car i've ever owned has had em (except for my winter beaters) so a awd turbo dsm w/leather and sunroof in good shape and not beaten or modded is like impossible to find :dunno:

the supra i found is a pearl white '87

blam
mine wasn't beaten or modded....but it was overheated lol

Bump

that search is impossible to narrow down to just alberta :dunno:
that red talon is sharp but a bit much for a awd dsm IMO, it better be in immaculate shape, blam's car was sharp, haven't found any that compared yet..... and chad, considering how you drive.. no :P :P hehe j/j

that one is pretty good....that is good mileage, and decent price...talk him down to 5 and it'd be a steal

but it might be a 7 bolt...

socalsupra
is that supra on autotrader, how much is he asking

blam
I think the guy was asking 3700...and its not in edmonton

SlowAzzPorsche911T
that link doesn't work for me

that supra WAS in the autotrader yes, why do you ask

and blam.. what for 3700 is a steal? :P

socalsupra

is there a green riced out teg right by there to? this one doesn't have stock rims, has some rust here and there, blue turbo badge and a big big muffler.. is that the one?

blam
I thought I saw a supra turbo int eh trader for 3700...I might be wrong...could have been 4700

SlowAzzPorsche911T
so the supra sucked, it needs like 4000 in work!

socalsupra
i think 87 rx7 turbo for $4000, rebuilt engine by conroy ganson president of rx7 club, BOV, 150k on body, talked to the guy sounds like a good deal, nice color

SlowAzzPorsche911T
not bad not bad.. i guess i really wanted a supra.. that was my first pick, we'll see how yours is first :D

socalsupra

SlowAzzPorsche911T

SlowAzzPorsche911T
i posted it in general auto chat but i'll post it here.. it's a 1984 porsche 944, hunter green, sunroof, 5 spd, tan leather interior, power windows, heat/ac/defrost/rear wiper, "cookie cutter" wheels which is the classis polished lip and black 5 spoke design, no tint, no system, mileage is 130,000 ish k.ms and it does need a wee bit of work, the price was.. around what i was wanting to spend

one of the requirements of using the internet is the knowing of how to read, go back 3 posts... do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars
