I was browsing through Beyond and noticed that a group of photographers on the boards down there have meets like this. So if there is anyone interested in coming out and sharing tips and tricks, maybe picking up a few things, talking about projects, etc., just post up here and we'll see what we can get going.
I figure that we could plan out a place to drive to take shots each meet, but also possibly make some photography related equipment. I've spoken with some others who expressed interest in making external mobile car mounts.
Anyhow, if anyone is interested just post up here.

and i might be setting up a camcorder mount, so perhaps i can contribute something in that respect. |

Well this isn't necassarily for just people that are photographers. I myself had never picked up a camera until 2 years ago.
This will be open to any and all that are interested in photography, we will not be out here to judge, only to help. Even if you don't have a camera you are more than welcome to come out and enjoy the meet. I will have several extra bodies and lenses along with me for anyone who wants to learn about manually controlling SLR cameras.

I'll be giving whatever tips I am able to, be they for film or digital, most stuff is universal.
Well perhaps we could set something up for the weekend after SCC. Who would be available on the afternoon of Saturday the 5th or maybe Sunday the 6th? |
