I plan on going to BudPark (weather permitting) tomorrow. I want to see how my new clutch and flywheel hold up. :D

Hehe good, so no one is going so that I wont look like a complete fool for going for the first time. Ok.. Ill be happy wiht a high 15. Id be super suprise if I pull of a 15.4 with my lack of experience

Last spring there were a few guys from a local Grand Am club at the track. It seemed that the GT's ran 15.7-16.0's and the SE's ran about 16.5's. Some guys had intake or exhaust but they all ran about the same. If you are fairly stock I would guess low to mid 16's and it shouldn't be too hard to launch an auto. I look forward to seeing what you run tomorrow. :)

hehe those SE's were equipted with twin cams probably.. slow assed engines, but capabale of having the nice 5 speed. My SE has the GT engine in it and it came form the factory faster than stock. I know a fellow GA owner who has a WAI and an exhaust who runs 15.4's to 15.5's at bud. And for me, I want to try 3 different launches. One starting in 2nd and runnin it. One starting in 2nd then shifting to 3rd. And the third in just 3rd gear.. what time are you showing up at? ill probably be there around 7:30. Im looking forward to seeing your nice J-body, it looks sweet in the pics.

SilverZ24
Well I'm just stating what I have seen. And the SE's that I saw both had the 3.4L. I personally don't believe your buddy's times (if it is an SE), but I look forward to being proven wrong. I will be there before 6pm. 7:30 is kind of late though, try showing up a bit earlier if you can. :)
