Wow. I know this is old hat in Edmonton, but yesterday I saw 5 RHD cars in the afternoon/evening.
2 different 300zx tt
1 GT-R
2 Silvia
All made me do a double take b/c I didn't realize there was a driver.
One I almost collided with b/c he tried passing on a undivided stretch of road and couldn't see me coming head on.
I for see many accidents b/c of this :( |

| I think that accidents like this would happen with the drivers behind the wheel of LHD cars also. Obviously the person is not a cautious driver. |

I think it is more likely to happen with RHD vehicles, as they are unable to "look around" the vehicle they are following.
I had to swerve on to the gravel shoulder to avoid the driver 'peeking around' the SUV he was following.
I was most unimpressed.
I guess you could look around the right side of the vehicle, but I think it is suboptimal.
Oh well.
The bottom line is that they must be careful, but I can already see the police report explaining that they looked but didn't see anything. :(
But the cars looked GREAT :) |

I find you need to be cautious when making decisions like that behind the wheel of a rhd car here in Canada. Some people should not be behind the wheel piloting a rhd machine in a lhd world b/c of their impatients.....
BTW - where did you see these cars? |

FWIW I saw one of the Silvias drive right by me as I was waiting to cross 112 st.
