So I met some stang guys from the wolfpack at hawralak park yesterday.. they were takin pics and chillin..
I told them about apaip and they said they'd check it out.. seemed like nice guys. But one guy said some people off v8less don't like them?? :dunno: |

I think some of that stems from talk over on Nexus. They were mistakenly included in a comment about the people that meet at BPs being....well....idiots when it comes to their cruising and hanging out. i.e burnouts on Jasper, street racing, etc. After speaking with a couple of them some more we came to realize that they are not the ones doing these activities and they have been told they are more than welcome to stop by the UC meet and cruise with us.

| Im on their Forum...I've cruised with them a couple times...gone to their meets...all good guys...they sometimes look down of small engine cars...but they gotta a really sweet club....their not just Blue Oval club anymore...some Slowmaro's joined up awhile ago...and a sweet turbo Probe and a wicked Couger with a bolton and alittle juice... |

the probe has been there for a long time, its one of hte starting members brother.
they are nice guys for the most part, but have had some troubles befor that ran off some members. |

Kinda figured.
I have a question for ya.
A couple months ago when the roads were getting nicer out, some friends and I were drying off our cars at the 24 hour carwash on 107ave north of downtown (not sure of the street). Anyway, a couple of your boys were filling up, and a bunch of the other cars just started honking their horns. At 1 AM! For a couple minutes anyway.
Is this something the Wolfpack thinks is cool? I sure don't think so.
The Cougar purging his nitrous when he went by was cool though. :D |

I wasn't at the get-together at Hawrelak, so I missed out, but I think it's always good to get to know the other clubs around the city.

Hey Calvin! Ya it has been a long time. Even though it's been years since I had the Z24, I was going to start cruisng around the J-Body forum again, but just couldn't commit to it because of everything else I've been up to. :)
I actually ran into Lee last summer... I know he's driving the Sierra now, but is he still around J-Body board much, or has he passed the club on to someone else?
Ya, Jay is Chris' brother.
As for Chris, he's still pretty pissed off about blowing his tranny as the track. I asked him if it was still drivable or totally hooped, and all he said was "totally hooped" - so ya, it's a real kick in the nuts since he just had work done to it last summer while he was replacing his clutch |

Well it looks like im going to have to sign up since im already beeing talked about... (Hello Everyone) LOL Yep the cars a big old paper weight right now, but it's doing a real good job so it's not all bad. I am looking to get her all fixed up at some point but right now it's more of a transport issue.
As for your question 2003specv, i have no idea buddy, it was a long time ago so it would be hard to remember, it seems out of the ordinary for our club so something must have been going on, mabye we were trying to drown out some of our louder members Exhaust but with the Crappy Ford Mustang Horn we were no match and had to give up ;) :bthumbup:

To the Wolfpack guys, is there a red/burgundy late 80s (Fox 3 body style??) mustang owned by a guy named Chris in your group?
Just wondering if he's on this forum as I've chatted/bumped into him before.
he mentioned 'wolfpack' to me but wasn't sure if this is the group he referred to.

I must've missed this one, because I would've responded before as well.
Like Chris said, it seems pretty out of character for our boys to do that kind of stuff at that time of night. If they did though, I'm sure there was a reason for it, because we're usually a lot more sensible than that.
I wasn't out for that one, so I have no idea what was going on, so I can't defend them. |
