i think i got a pretty good deal on it.
its a 1992 dodge stealth R/T (non turbo) but its still hella fast, its the 222hp one. it came with z rate tires, timing belt just done, new clutch, and a nice clean looking loud muffler. it only has 130k km, fully loaded, leather interior, automatic electronic climate control, etc. BEAUTIFUL condition, i paid 13g's for it. |

the twin turbo ones however are amazing, they have 300hp which with a free, 320hp can be had, and its awd. |

| ya, i didnt get the twin turbo awd model cuz a) i couldnt find a decent one, b) insurance would royaly rape me but mostly cuz of c) my parents arent letting me get a turbo vehicle cuz they think im gonna kill myself or someone else, go figure, lol. but definatly, when i get a bit older, my next car is going to be a twin turbo stealth or 3000gt. |

those are sweet cars, do the N/A come as AWD too? or just the turbos?
its too bad theyre so heavy though, the weight really kills their performance, but i will admit the turbos are fast. |

| Antonio |
| no, its shitty fwd the n/a's have. meh, its all good, i kan still beat 90% of the cars on the road, hahaha. ya, they are pretty heavy, mines not too too bad, its heavy, but 3300 pounds with me in it and my spare tire and jack and all that crap. ya man, the turbo ones are krzy fast. |

| Last Fall I was looking for an AWD TT Stealth for a winter beater. I came across one in Calgary owned by a petite female doctor who has moved to Dubai permanently. The car is red, has around 90,000 km on it, has an interior that looks like it's never been sat in, and even had the front end repainted to remove stone chips before being squirreled away. The car is immaculate. I wound up with another car for the winter, but have been sitting on this one for a rainy day. If someone is serious about purchasing a twin turbo all wheel drive Stealth for somewhere in the mid to high teens, drop me a line. |

Hey Dean
What year is that Stealth you have for sale? 5-speed or 6? Do you have any pics?
I don't know why I want to ask this, because I'm sure I don't want to know the answer, but why the hell would you want to wreck such a great car by making a winter beater out of it? That's what 4x4 pickup trucks are for.

All good questions. I'll have to get back in touch with my contact about it as I don't remember the details. I believe its a '92. Not sure about 5 or 6 speed. It wasn't particulary accessible to take pictures of it at the time either. I only came across it on my way through Calgary heading to Montana to pick up another car from the U.S.
As for why I wanted for a Stealth for a winter driver, the answer is simple. As you can see from my signature I am partial to turbocharged vehicles. For a winter driver I would insist on AWD. And being as I have some money I would want something sharp to tool around in. So an AWD turbocharged sports car is on the menu. All that springs to mind is the Talon, Stealth and WRX. I factory ordered the first WRX into Grande Prairie and asked for my deposit back five minutes into the test drive. Talons are cool but....Stealths are cooler. So there you have it the Stealth is the coolest of the lot, hence my choice.
BTW, I do own truck. It's a 2003 GMC Crew Cab Duramax dually with every factory option, $10,000 in dealer installed options, and pretty much every go fast part available necessary to leave Mustangs in a cloud of smoke at any stop light. What would you drive for short trips in the winter...that $75,000 truck or a $15,000 Stealth? ;) |

" i kan still beat 90% of the cars on the road"
hah ...sure |

| typhoon- k, maybe not 90% but pretty close to that. |

heh. Myself, I'd drive the truck. I've driven too many sports cars in the winter time, and AWD or not, they have no ground clearance and still don't get the traction that a truck with good tires will. The first snow drift you hit will destroy the front air dam, and the ground effects wouldn't hold up too well, either.
Of course, if you just enjoy seeing a grown man cry, then driving a Stealth R/T TT past me on a snow-rutted street would certainly achieve this.
Cheers.
