Good place to have transmission oil replaced? - Click HERE for Original Thread

TurboMR2
Hi everyone,
just wanted to ask if anyone knew a good reliable place that can flush and replace the transmission oil on my MR2..
I'll be supplying the fluid for the car...

btw I've already called PE Tuning as well as a couple Toyota Dealerships and they are fairly booked for a while..

Thanks..
:)

The guy at the speedy oil change place on fort road and 66st offered to do mine for cheap right on the spot :dunno:

I can't remember the name of the place.

hey JP here's a creative link on how to change your tranny fluid easily & quickly with a bit of ingenuity.

It's RX-7 specific but the "tool" can be applied to all cars:

I got mine done at Pro Drag JP. Redline MT90, I forgot the cost of the actual service though.

James I agree it is a pain in the ass.. the location of where the drain plug is situated in the MR2 makes it a little tricky to get the oil into..

doesn't really help either when your car is dropped and has a bodykit on either.. for those that have seen my car I don't have very much clearence..
.for myself I would rather pay a little money and take it to a shop that has access to a hoist and fluid pump and save me the hassle...

btw thanks for the help guys...
I actually took my car to a family friend's shop.. ended up only paying $15.00 to have the fluid flushed and replaced..
