what tires I am looking at falken 512, kumo 711 or 712 bfg scoorcher( has any one used this tire?? how are they)

any other recomendation must perform well in rain too[, I may auto cross once in a while to but not a big concern mostly a very good street tire which will not break the bank

sorry for the long post

REFLUX
Kumho Ectsa MX
Yokohama AVS ES100
Dunlop FM901

Falken Azenis Sports if you're willing to give up a bit of rain grip for more dry traction

All of the above tires are prbly the best "bang for the dollar" tires on the market and used very widely

I believe of the 4 listed, the Yokohamas or Dunlops have the highest treadwear rating, then the Kumhos and lastly the Falkens.
Rain channeling is topped closely by all of them except the Azenis (which I use...but how often do you need great grip in the rain???)

The Dunlops are generally the cheapest, Falkens, then the Yokos/Kumhos.

Dry traction would be: Falken, Kumho, Yoko/Dunlop in third

If tire noise is a concern to you, the Falkens are said to be the loudest but all you really hear (even at the max 50psi) is a droning noise, nothing really noticeable to me.

*please correct me if my info is inaccurate, it's just coming off the top of my head*

Here are a couple links of some feedback on the Falken Azenis' from people on this board that have used them:

well i cant say id recommend azenis if u arent auto-xing much. they are super grippy ONLY when its hotter than 20 degrees out. when its like 10 degrees they arent grippy at all. they also wear super fast and totally suck in the rain esp when theyre already partially worn down.

another complaint i have of the azenis is that they dont squeal. i hate silent launches and how they dont warn u before they give out in a corner.

funny i never hear anyone complain of AZENIS' road noise. That's the #1 reason I could never roll on Azenis. They are way to loud.

I have Nokian WR's nice tire grippy and great in all weather.
