they could use some centercaps, but other than that:bthumbup:

bigmack000
the center caps are already one lol

Terry, your car needs a front lip/spolier then it'd be hot:bthumbup:

Oh and i like those rims.

DeathBy240
Very nice

Yes they are FD rims...

Hmmm, pretty good, I like them.
If I was purchasing them, however, I would have to go with a contrating color somewhere on the car - polished rim, center cap,...reflective 2F2F sticker (J/K) - to grab the eye's focus. The hyper-black rims on a black car just seem to wash it out...

Just my $0.02, but still looks great

I disagree keep it ALL black. It looks low profile and stealth like.

TE37s = keeping my options open
I haven't purchased any rims yet ;)

there are ups & downs to every set taht catches my eye but so far it's these FD rims or the TE37s

and as for getting rims to stand out more/better, I like the low profile look
thanks for the comments though! :)

Heya;

They are to 'stock'ish for me.

However, I am still rolling on stock rims so what do I know?

Mavrick
Those wheels look great! I love the monochrome look, especially in black, and not too glossy. Something about it makes it look serious, and perhaps a little sinister. It hints toward an interceptor or stealth type of vehicle.

As the saying goes, "If you can't race it, chrome it". The black matches and extends the whole theme of the car, and I think it looks much better than something shiny or flashy would.

i agree with Mavrick, i dig the stealth bomber look.

Wow, i actually figured out those were FD rims before i saw the posts saying that they were. I likes, Terry. What are you gonna use them for? Street or track? I can't remenber if you have street wheels already or track wheels already. Either way i like the FD wheels on your car in black. Volks are nice too, but SO much $$.

Mekanik22
Nice color, but not enough spokes in my opinion...

Would use them for the street & I already have a set of street & track wheels :D
Just want a set of "nicer" street wheels hehe

I think I'm going to settle on getting FD rims but I gotta find spacers to make'm fit (which are discontinued :( ) and I might have to rebuild my turbo first...*sigh* so much to do, so little money :(

did you end up picking up any rims Shane?

Terry if you're gonna rebuild your turbo, its gonna cost almost $800. You might as well get a Hybrid To4B from Conroy for only $200 more then the rebuild!

C'mon close to 300whp sounds convincing, doesn't it?

REFLUX
yeah I've considered that but I'll have to see how the funds are for supporting all the extra hp :)

Pardon my ignorance, but somebody please fill me in on what 'Conroy' is. I have three turbo-projects right now, and could always use more resources for parts, rebuilds, and hybrids.

If anyone knows of a good shop that can do custom pipes and flanges with a decent finish, I'd like to hear about them, too. Ugly but functional is just not cool. ;)

Thanks.

Mav.
