Okay, this event is coming up fast and many preparations need to be made prior to this. Specifically, who will all be representing the EPC at this local event, display options, etc...

Since this is a local event, I hope that we have a good representation (hopefully more than 2). If we have a minimum of 5 members entered, we are eligable to run for the "best team" award.

For all pertanent information regarding this event, including the on-line registration, click here.

Here are the current confirmed registrants:

Psst...I'm registered as well!!

Xx D-MAN xX
Okay, that's 4 and all 5th gens.

Anyone with a 3rd or 4th gen want to register? IDTrav, bunch, mike3, HKSpower, littledan, anyone?????

It's only $35 to register if we have 5 cars. You also get 2 VIP passes for the show and probably something for the after-party...

I really want to take the "team award" from the DC5AB crew. We need as many rides out as possible, everyone supporting EPC decals on their rides and wearing their EPC shirts...

ManHunter
I'll be there too

luder
im gonna register, and so should my friend with his fourth gen. its alrite if i only have wheels, intake and a somewhat poverty system for mods right?

92_WhItE_H23
i would but my car is hardly show ready ahah

mike3
What if your car is like mine, and has rims, muffler, system, and a few things painted??, lol

seluder22
I just seen little dan's ride wednesday night driving by me working and I love that car. A head turner for sure! Damn I love those rims!

Xx D-MAN xX
Your car doesn't have to be of show quality to enter, but should have at least 3 of the following:
- Modified exterior
- Modified Interior
- Engine Bay modifications (Turbo, swap, dress-up)
- Wheels and/or suspension and/or brakes
- Custom Stereo enclosures

Please note the following when registering:
- The Edmonton Prelude Club is the Club Affiliation
- Say NO to Vendor Booth (even though we will be having a club booth)
- Say NO to electricity (I will provide it)
- Payment is required at time of registration (cheque/credit card)

Cost:
- $40/car (includes 2 VIP passes)
- If we have atleast 5 registrants, it will be dropped to $35/car

To receive the $5 discount on registration, contact Mark Seto directly.

Xx D-MAN xX
mike, I think your car is acceptable. You have atleast 3 mods.

Like I said, your car doesn't have to be heavily modified to enter the show. If you have a few things done to it, that's acceptable to me.

For me, this is more of a showcase to promote the club. Having a few stock cars would be fine so that tells other prelude enthusiasts that's not what we are all about and let's them know that their prelude doesn't have to be modified to join the club.

The modified cars are the attention getters and lets people know what can be done with some money, time and hard work.

IDTrav
you can put me down too darcy

Xx D-MAN xX
Excellent Travis!

Make sure you fill out the on-line registration form here and send payment.

BTW, anyone that is attending the show and wants a t-shirt, let me know so I have enough time to get them done. Probably, June 25th will be the cut-off date.

white_rice
Hey sorry i haven't even bothered to make an introduction post to let you know who i am but im good bud's with "luder" and i noticed that you want 4th gens and i got mine buot a month ago, its pretty nicely done up and i'd be stoked to bring it to VUB. when i register do i just give them the cash when i bring the car there or what?

Anyways yes im definitley in for VUB, but despite trying to find darcy at hawrelak it was to no avail so i still need to give you cash for membership and stickers.

Xx D-MAN xX
When you fill out the on-line registration, I beleive there are 2 payment options. One is credit card and the other is personal cheque.

redwall177
ok darcy i am in and payed and register too just need a shirt

jeff92lude

IDTrav
i saw your car today, making a left onto 66th st - nice 4th gen

Xx D-MAN xX
<Jeff> The EPC isn't about modifying preludes or creating showcars, were about being enthusiastic about the cars we drive. When the EPC goes to a show, we are there to promote the club as a community and inform other prelude enthusiasts that the club exists.

I also find it a great opportunity to talk to others about our cars, what upgrades they can do, were to get the work done, etc... They may not be interested in joining the club but that's cool if it's not their thing.

I just want others to see that it's okay to join the EPC if your prelude isn't heavily modified or show quality. It's not what we are all about.

I don't think anyone that step's up to display their car at a show looks stupid. Personally, it takes guts...

If you do decide to register and display your ride, all I ask is that you present it like a show car. Clean is key!

1_Bar
Werd Darcy....man our cars at VUB Calgary looked stock lol, no wild graphics/body kits. But they were clean in appearance and styling.

It was a hellauva lot of fun and I'd definatley do it again. You talk to tons of people and get lots of ideas.

Xx D-MAN xX
Are cars didn't look stock, but rather stealthy. I prefer the clean look anyways.

Xx D-MAN xX
If you have any intensions of displaying your prelude at this event, I suggest you register by the end of this week or you'll pretty much be unable to get in...

Make sure you send payment or else you will be bumped to standby, which means you may or may not be able to get in...

jeff92lude
k well i registered......im kinda sceptical, but the next few weeks im gonna do as much as i can to work on my ludes "show" aspect...lol
I hope lots of ppl show up, im just doing it to represent EPC

Xx D-MAN xX
Cool! We've got 9 confirmed and 1 maybe.

Xx D-MAN xX
Damn, 11 ludes confirmed! Looks like we'll have an awesome turnout...

redwall177

Yes, you need to make payment after you register to secure yourself a spot...

Xx D-MAN xX
Registration is now closed since there are no more spots available.

In fact, we may have to start turning away people at this point since we may not have enough room for all those that have already registered:mad:

redwall177
this bites ass like what the hell

Xx D-MAN xX
Everyone that has registered on-line and has sent payment will get into the show. It will just depend on who's inside and who's outside.

If you have yet to send payment, then you will probably be turned away at the door so I hope that everyone has payed.

If you don't want to bother, then you can contact V8less to make arrangements for reimbursement.
