Hey guys, i've just about finished my clutch job now, and i ran into a problem... you know how you lift up on the rotor and stuff onto the lower control arm? well i lift it up, but it won't push back far enough to go on...it seems like the cv shaft is too long(which its not) but the other side fit fine..any ideas?

redmethods
it should go in, it just might be a bitch & a little bit of time
Ya, You are lucky that you don't have ATTS :thumbsdow

on another note, can anyone try to explain how to replace an outter tie rod? some idiot tried to help with my clutch job and broke it!

on the CV joint issue, make sure that the knuckle didn't come apart (wich may be why it is too long). NEVER pull a CV axle from the hub end.

cv problem is fixed i had to take it apart...something came lose inside...but that problem is fixed.

Good 4U. Glad it worked out. How hard was it to swap out your clutch? How long did it take you? Have you done it be4?:)

i started on it last tuesday...didn't run into any big problems, and the tranny was back in on friday...its not too hard of a job, and yeah its my first time...if my tie rod wasn't broken it would be on the road...
