If it's cold the meets often move to the Tim Hortons just south of United Cycle.
780Tuners is not affiliated with these meets. They are just gatherings which some members choose to attend on their own volition. |

| Last winter, people showed up every week for the winter meets. I don't know if the tradition will hold this winter, but I'm sure once Aaron gets back hes gonna wanna have the old winter meets at Tim Hortons. |

| I dont drive a "Magic Machine" however I am a enthusiast as well. If someone pokes fun at me its no big deal Im used to it. :) I have a different personality and I can easily deal with it no confrontations needed. I do this to learn and I have learned that ridicule <---(however you spell it) has nothing to do with learning so it gets ignored. Dont get me wrong Im polite in doing so as well. | Last night people were cruising hard. I seen loads of nice cars out last night (lil preludes and civics) and all I could hear untill about 3 a.m. was brapping exhausts and squeeling tires from my apartment. So whos already cruising and whos gonna be patient and wait for more reliable weather without sand and gravel plastered all over the city streets? |

| I went to a few meets last spring/summer met great people. Had fun times down at Hawrelak Park and wendy's. Someone inform me when the meets are going to be regular again. LOL I drive my car in the winter also, it's nothing fancy so I can afford to do so. |

Yeah, I noticed that Friday night also. Spotted (or heard actually) a crazy ass turbo Civic, a couple 4th gen ludes racing down Whitemud west of Anthony Henday, and a few Talons.
I'm being patient. 2's not coming out till at least May. :bthumbup: |

I never "saw" racing I hope there not racing in my neihborhood or any hood for that matter. How many old lady's gettin run down does it take to smarten these kids up?
Or side swipped cop cars like a year or so ago?

Meh im driving my car right now. I dont have a winter beater. But some parts and things are slowly gonna start to happen. Swap bar, tires, gonna lower the coilovers, need new exhaust, tint, c/f hood maybe.....Awww its endless....... Meh. I hate money.:( Oh well!

If money is an issue you can do cosmetic mods if your creative enough. Its not that tough Im sure you could on a budget easily. By the looks of it you are wanting to save for some funner stuff to play with and I think both could be fit in together.
See this is why I would like to go to meets , you can discuss things and help and learn from each other out alot quicker than through posts. Also its alot easier to fit in the forum when personallity is added to our names. To me it would be a goldmine of bright young minds. We can share valuable information and swap expertise. |

As for the Wednesday night meets.... I was on my way to Hawrelack PK to take some photos of my car this evening, got there and some of the regulars were there.... I was talking to a buddy in his Black E34 BMW and we were chatting as most of you were leaving, he couldn't help but comment what a bunch of asshats you all were (those of you trying to do breakstands and pathetic burnouts). Guess it's a good thing the park wasn't too busy... . |
