I have a rim that is currently being repaired at Wheel Works. Once finished, I need to get the tire re-mounted on to the rim and balanced.
Where should I get this done? They have to guarantee that they won't damage the rim... |

get it done at Wheel Works ;)
if they're refinishing the rim...I would think they would know what/how to put on tires so it keeps the rims in good condition :D |

That's correct, they won't re-mount tires on rims...
I was thinking Kal Tire on 170 Street, however, I wouldn't mind trying out this FasTech. Where are they located? |

There are 2 locations.
West End - ~173st just in from Tire Warehouse on 170st
South Side - ~99st area somewhere....I dunno. ;) |

| I second Fastech. They mounted and balance my tires and did a very good job. No scratchs and they had amazing customer service. This was at the south-side location. |

| Fastech did a good job dismounting the factory wheels of my dad's Tl and remounting them on winter tires, and putting on the o.z.'s on the summer tires, no scratches whatsoever |

| Take it to West Side Acura. They won't damage the wheel and they're cheaper than Fastech. The only downside is you'll have to make an appointment, possibly a few days in advance. |

| To mount a tire on a rim and balance it shouldn't be more than $30. I doubt west side acura is much cheapier. |

| you will not beat fastech...if your worried about money and your wheels getting scratched...wtf....pay a few bucks for professonalisim.. Fastech is by far the best bet Cal on the south side is awesome and Garry on the west knows better than anybody..but if you go west make sure its garry that helps you out. |
