Yep, But it was running mid 14's with a 2.0L SOHC.
Now it has a 2.4L DOHC. |

Holy crap! Where did that engine come from? What do you expect in the 1/4?

We took the engine out of a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus.
Expectations in the 1/4 we are not sure at the moment.
The engine is stock internally at the moment.
But this engine is significantly more tourqey than our old SOHC. (168 lb-ft vs 129 on ths old SOHC)
We were hoping to run it at Bud Park last sunday but alas the rain got to us again. :-(
With the plans for this car we are hoping to see mid 13 sec passes in NA form next summer. Keep in mind this car will be setup for GT Road racing.
So what do you others have planned for next year? |
