All 4 of those models ruined liek al lthe fuckin pictures....same stances for most shots, crappy clothing, not the best makeup or hair,{Im no stylist expert but my girlfriend is very stylish and has a lot of taste so maybe its jsut rubbing off on me, but those girls had bad clothes + makeup for models.}
all of them putting 1 hand on the car....OOoOoOo.... The shots woulda been better without all these paperbag princess's standing in the way.

This bashing is pretty weak. As much as i dislike e-z, they went out and put on a show, albeit, not one i would visit, but a show none-the-less. What did you do last night? did you put on a show? probably not, so shut-up.

I am tryin to get into amatuer photography, so I am not biased as to what I take photos of...working on technique is all that matters to me.
They asked me to slap on an E-Z shirt and to take photos with the models cause they liked how my photos looked, and I had no problem doing that.
It was fun for me to take all those photos, I loved it, and the models were very coopertive...as far as the poses thats my fault...I really have no idea how to do a model shoot, I may be going back sunday and I might try something a little different.
Practice makes perfect. (also the cars are customers cars so getting the models up on the cars is difficult).
Next time I do a model shoot though, I am working with 1 model at a time per shot. Worked out really good in the pics with just 1 model. |

I wasn't bashing the show, just the models, i think its great that they are trying to get more peopel into the scene, i was just saying the models were lacking a lot of modelness

For Alot of thoes shots i was the one who set them up.. so as for Flaming trev on the models "we" were doing our best to make them more interesting and as far as im concerned it was my fault just as much as his.. i personally think that the pictures turned out pretty good.. especially after having to try and position the models with kevin's mom around saying "no no no no no dont do it this way" .. i agree with the clutterdness of them I do see what you mean, sunday we'll do a bunch with the single models and the cars and see how they turn out.. i don't wanna steal trev's thunder cuz he actually took the pictures, but as i set them up id like some recognition :bthumbup: ..As for the major hatin' that TheNeonEdge's been giving, thats weak dude.. i didn't think you were like that..:dunno: |

| anyway, some constructive critisism for prax....try more not-tilted-camera shots, dont use auto-flash mode on cars indoors, and try setting your white balance so the colors are more accurate. mess with different aperture settings (i dont know enuff about that to tell u what works in that setting) |

Thanks for the tips.
I got bored of not tilted camera shots cause they look boring and like something you would see by normally looking at a car...I was mixing between flash and non-flash and I was messing with white balance as well as the aperature (shutter speed).
The colors were as accurate to the cars as it can get, I spent a bit of time on each photo enhancing light and such in photoshop too meh... |

We talked with the guy that said he owned the RSX.. We asked if we could see under the hood considering the car is covered in Spoon and Mugen stickers. The response we got was "I don't let anyone see under my hood". We got some good mileage out of that one.
Also, The EF civic that they had.. I don't think I have seen a single mugen part for a D series motor.. |

Actually, When the second fast and the furious came out.. I did put on a better show then EZ mine was at cinaplex in south edmonton common.. and from what I remember we had over 70 cars there.. And EZ had a show of there own in west ed to directly compete with me.
Thanks to everyone that showed up and to those that helped plan that event.
I would also like to say, my budget for my show was $2.00 to print up a couple sheets to tell people where it was happening.
I forgive mrdeeds for not knowing about that though. I didn't advertize on any city short buses so he likley didn't know about it. |

E-Z Motorsports did our first show event originally at WEM for The Fast and The Furious show event back in Jun./2001 in partnership with Silvercity
Our 2nd WEM event was in Sept./2002 after our 4dr Teg. was featured in the Edmonton Journal Wheels Section WEM Promotional Manager called Kevin GM of E-Z Motorsports and offered space to showcase our Rides

Perhaps EZ needs to be tought a lesson.. My EG vs. there EF ? what do you guys think.. battle of the SOHCs..
they have 30Gs under the hood of that car, I should have no hope right ? I have spent about $4000 total on my car, including my wheels.. They posed on Cevo that the car is setup for road racing / autocross.. Kaos41 is holding a event at stratotech on the 7th of August.. I say bring it. Unless of course you are afraid :) |

| This is true, But Mark and Wilson from v8less did help out aswell. Along with the Baron. Chowder drove the crusie route a whole bunch of times to make sure it would work. Matrix motorsports and Certified radio were also involved but they were really only there to push there wears. |

you know.. if I got my turbo in by the 7th.. I would race any car that EZ had at the show in west ed.. I think the only car that would have a chance might be the RSX... and thats only if it actually has more then the show crap on it. |
