So, I got behind this Focus GT-R the other day, and.............. oh, you mean to say there's no such thing? Ah. I see.

Yes, some numb-nuts thought he could slap a Nissan GT-R emblem on his For Focus ZX5 (yeah, 5, of all things. Let alone a Focus). Things like this make me want to rip it off and shove it up the tailpipe of the person who thought they could get away with it.

What about you lads n' lassies? Does it piss you off to see a Civic DX with TypeR emblems? Or how about a 2.3L Stang with 5.0 or GT decals? Or are you the fools who do it yourself?

I did see an LX Mustang once with a custom made 0.5 on the front fenders. That made me laugh. I aprove of being honest in cases like this.

240sx
WANKER:dunno:

snugs
Dammit, those GTR emblems are only supposed to go on V6 stangs. Stupid Focus driver.

BlueTurboEGG
:bs: for Fakers

nis_mo
HAHAHA i saw a 6 cylinder mustang with a cobra bumper on the back an tiny dual exhuast today, it made me laugh!:dunno:

SplineZ
I dunno, I think it'd be funny to have an LX with 0.5 badges! haha

some early 90's LX stangs did come with 5.0's tho..

The least that guy could of done was use Emblams from his own car line like SVT or even the euro RS then atleast it would still be a Focus faker not some weird ass GT-R faker.

n0c7
Shaved emblems  Badging, labels, brands, all materialistic!

I did think it was funny. It makes his car unique, without being false. Whatever, it was some good wit to come up with that, and some good weed to make him go to all the trouble.

No, not even SVT or RS emblems. If it's not an SVT, you don't use SVT badges. Posers suck the big one.

You notice it's the guys with shitty base models who want you to think there's something more under the hood, while the guys with the real deal want to keep it a secret? That's why you won't find any indication of a turbo on my car.

RF134A
Anyone else seen a black SX2.0 with QUAD exhaust and some funny silver checkered pattern on his car? He was driving like he was in a Nascar race on Whitemud.... I had a good laugh out of him. :p

oldraven
No, haven't seen him. NEON's are practically invisible to me. :D The only one that would ever get a second glance from me is the SRT. And even then, I'm no fan.

I saw an Escort not long ago with TypeR badges. The rest of the car was completely stock.

DrunkenGoddess
AWWWWW.. that's just NOT nice! neons are sooooooooo cute and petite.. how could you not like us??

alright.. guys, don't get mad, everytime i see one of those mismatching stickers.. i have a joke for the rest of the day :p they're awesome laughbombs! they should make you happy :) not pissed! :p

DrunkenGoddess
and plus.. didn't you know Type R stickers give you like at least 10 extra HP?? Even if the car is stock, he's already boosting it's power by adding a sticker!! YEA!!

and even if you don't have a snitch of mugen power on your car.. one litle decal and you're good to go :blue:

you guys are sooooooooooo not with it! :p

oldraven
Hey, we've all got our own tastes, right? :) Don't worry about what I like, it's what you like that should matter.

I mean, I love T-birds and Corvairs. How foolish is that? :p

I once thought of making a BMW twin kidney grille for my old '95 Tercel. Not because I thought I could convince people that it was a Bimmer, but I thought it would be good for a laugh, since they actually look like mini-3's. I've got a picture of the photoshop job I did around somewhere. Looking back though, I'm glad I didn't.

EnYgMa
We must remember that to get that 10 hp from the sticker, it has to be properly placed for the least aerodynamic drag!

And the lighted windshield washer spitters should be good for at least 2.5 horspower each - for a total of 5 HP!

energie
i place stickers under my hood, and i shaved all my emblems off...and i saw a corolla with a type-s badge on it, i know there is a corolla S version but not Type-S, i drove by him in my dad's Tl-S and gave him a dirty look

ae1969

It doesnt matter what you drive......

Even this guy wants my badge.

EnYgMa
A couple of you VW guys do that, right? Steve Garland is a good friend of mine, and I know he's got a couple of decals under his hood.

oldraven
I put mine on the interior.

EnYgMa
oldraven,

Wow, you still have the original factory cassette player!!!!

oldraven
Actually, I have one of these for the TC.

But I tried to install it, then realised I had no way to mount it to the factory space. I've got to get a mounting bracket, then I'll be happy. But yes, for now I'm using the factory unit. It's an amped JBL six speaker system though, so It's not too bad.

EnYgMa
Cool, good to hear!!!

As long as you're happy with the sound.

mr_sars
energie - There is such a thing as a Corolla, Corolla S, and a Corolla XRS now.

oldraven
At the risk of throwing my own thread off topic once again, what's an S got that a base Corolla doesn't?

EnYgMa
Factory RIMS!!!!! I think that's it. It has a spoiler too, but I think you can get a spoiler on the LE model too.

I found it really funny when my uncle's 2000 Corolla LE (full load, everything!!!!) came with hub caps!!!

Mekanik22
Today I saw some 1990 Accord 4 door and it was brown in color, but had a pink spoiler. I raised my eyebrow thinking "What the hell is wrong with him?" Yes, yes it was a him.

Then my cousin wants to buy a 1992 cavalier and do a Skyline GT-R body conversion to it. For 1, I'm going to slap him, and for 2, by the time he's done, he could have bought a new car....

He'd never be able to pull it off. Mainly because, when he found out what would be involved with such a pointless task, he'd have decided to go with something else. I can't imagine anyone would be foolish enough to try that. Mind you, people surprise me with their stupidity sometimes.

Mekanik22
Acually, they acually have pre-made imitation kits. You just lift off your old shell, and put this one on. So it's a Skyline body on a cavalier frame. Creative, but still GAY! :greddy:

oldraven
Sad and pathetic are the words I would have used. :dunno:

Mekanik22
I prefer slang, haha.

I've seen a 80s Mustang, a dusty red/maroon color. GT-R emblems where the 5.0 would normally be  It had neon bars inside the cockpit, on the FRONT of the dash and in the little guage niche, wires all over the place.

B-Wurm

EnYgMa
I once saw a guy driving his burgundy Corsica who had put a shitty stereo in it and a green neon light around his rear view mirror and other green around the interior.

Man, it looked like he just left his double-wide!!!

Xpnsve
I'm still waiting to see a "Neon 2.4" badge on a Srt-4

Now that would be a laugh
