I'm looking to buy a chevy/gmc 1500 shortbox reg cab truck (88-95) and looking to spend about 4500$

For that price range for a short box, be sure you inspect it well. Those years were bad for the wheel wells rotting out, as well as cab corners. And for that price you get what you pay for :dunno:
