Dyno results - Click HERE for Original Thread

2000z
Hey guys, no time to chat, I'm late for dinner with my girlfriend. Just wanted to post my dyno results, no time to scan the sheets either. Travis from Apex can verify until I have time to scan sheets.

Car 2000 z24 5 spd
Mods: AEM intake, 2.5" cat-back, motor mounts, ZEX wet kit

NO NITROUS: 133 hp, 140 tq

75 shot : 200 hp, 230 lb/ft !

Soooo impressed with the torque.

Oh, that was running pig rich too. We leaned it out a bit but still wayyyy on the safe side.

No bottle warmer yet either but I'm sure it was fully pressured.

See you at bud park on the 23rd!!

Thanks for the comments guys. I really think my stock manifold is holding me back on the top end. I'll be getting a header and high flow cat ASAP to help with that. Of course a port and polish and more aggressive exhaust cam would help a ton too but that won't be happening this year. The first run was NA, the second was with the 75 shot fuel and nitrous jet, AF is not even on the chart, third run we put the fuel jet for the 65 shot in and the AF is just skimming the bottom of the chart, last run we used the fuel jet for the 55 shot and the AF is just slightly richer than the NA run. Ended up putting the 65 fuel jet in for extra safety but I'm sure it would be fine with the 55 fuel jet. I'm going to get my hands on a few bigger nitrous jets and see if I can't put a 75 hp boost to the wheels instead of this zex flywheel rated BS.

;)

Oh, also running TR6 (2 range colder) plugs, might try some TR5's at the next dyno. Anyways, here's the link to the sheet.

Awesome!

Now... just change that screenname of yours. A Cavalier Z24 is NOT a "Z"! :p

Thanks for the comments guys, sorry about the confusion but was there even a Z car made in 2000? And hey, its lowercase, Nissan Z cars deserve capitalized Z's. z24s don't.

I'll have a graph with RPM on it up in a little bit to make it easier to decipher.

Yeah, I ran on the 23rd. Back to back 14.5's @ 95mph.

Installed my bottle heater and picked up some bigger jets so the 13th should be interesting. Going to drop the tire pressure and see what happens.
