Hey Guys,
I am looking for an MKI. Pretty much any year, although my heart would be set on an SC machine.
I am also looking for any parts for MKI. I am in need of a black, passenger side powered mirror assembly, 5 speed transaxle freshly rebuilt or in awesome shape. Clutch in great condition. Passenger side skirt, the smaller end. I would be interested in alot of other stuff as well.

I forgot to thank you for the link.
I did end up buying that 86mr2 for parts. I pulled the engine on it this morning, found a huge hole in the side of the block. Oh well, I was not in need of a motor, but it would not hurt having an extra one aside.
If someone needs something off it, let me know.

Hi ND4SPD,
I still have it, although it is not running for now. My son took it to work, drove over a manhole cover that was sticking out too high and tore the tranny out from under it. That is why I bought this other one, for the tranny. I am giving him this 86. I am looking for another one for myself.
How is yours? I did see the 85 in the cars for sale forum. Did you sell it?

BTW, there's an SC in Calgary selling for $6,500....check Bargain Finder.
Else I know somebody here with a mint 89 SC...that is for sale. :D |

Hey J,
You had to say goodbye to the MKI. Sorry to hear that, bud.
Nothing is stopping you from coming and saying hi at the next meet. Heck, I might even be forced to show up with my winter beater just to say hi myself, if I don't get my ride on the road in time. Funny, these cars tend to make friends out of their respective owners.
I should check the bargain finder out. Sounds like I going to be forced to look outside the city for my next MKI.
Sadly (for me I guess, LOL), that mint 89SC that you mention has been taken off the market. That MR2 is the epidome of what a beautiful MKI should look like.
