| Early next year, pre-production will commence on "Men of Destiny," an epic action adventure that will reteam director John Woo with star Chow Yun-Fat. The two famously collaborated in the past on "The Killer," "Hard Boiled" and a number of other Hong Kong action classics.<p>Formerly titled "Men of Iron," Chow will star opposite an American actor in the tale of a Chinese man and an Irish man working side by side laying track for the transcontinental railroad in the late 1800s. "Face/Off" scribes Mike Werb and Michael Colleary penned the screenplay.<p>Aiming to start principal photography in mid-2002, the production will carry a ๪ million price tag, according to the Los Angeles Times.<p>Woo's next picture to hit theaters will be the Nicolas Cage-toplined World War II actioner "Windtalkers," due in June. Before becoming a "man of destiny," Chow will shoot the action comedy "Bulletproof Monk" with Seann William Scott. |
