Brazeau Reservior Rec. Area
~60kms SW of Drayton Valley (1.5 hour drive from edmonton)
The campground consists of 2 large loops on a peninsula on the Brazeau Reservoir. In the late summer (July, August) the reservoir is usually full and the water is EXCELLENT! (sand beaches and no weeds). If you are into ATVs, there are tons of trails for dirtbikes and quads nearby.
The campsite also offers free firewood.

it provincial but really really nice.
good fishing as well. (trout)
