Great News Everyone!
Looks like Mazda in the Mountains 2 is a go ahead! I will post a map on the www.mx-west.com site tonight, detailing the exact location at the Canmore Nordic Centre. There is also an online payment link located at www.mx-west.com on the MX-West Calgary site that will alow you to pay by direct payment or credit card through PayPal. This is for the $5 per car fee to cover some of the costs of hosting this event (spot rental, liability insurance, etc). After the show & shine, we may head to a local resturant for a bit to eat and then later hit the road in a massive convoy. Hope to see some of you all there and remember to spread the word!

Check with the Nordic Centre.
August 1st is the only day registered with them and has Liability insurance coverage. If someone tries to hold an event again without their aproval, they'll be some pissed. The Operations manager warned me that he would take serious action if the event took place without renting a spot from them and getting liability insurance on the location. I can't change the date because everything has been paid for. If someone wants another event on the 21st, then they'll have to get in touch with the Nordic Center and get Liability Insurance for that day. That's why I have to charge a $5 per car fee. To cover a small portion of the costs. The August 1st Date was chosen quite a few months ago. |

| Sorry guys. There was a posting a while ago but I can't seem to find it. There was someone from the Edmonton RX7 club that was aware of the event but it doesn't look like he said anything to anyone else. So far we're expecting around 25+ cars including 9 Miatas from the Rockies Miata Club. There is another group of Mazda 3s and of course my group of MX-3s. |
