Business Card ideas for SEMA - Click HERE for Original Thread

Markis
I need a creative design for business cards for SEMA. I suspect everyone will collect hundreds of cards during SEMA and I need a way to make sure my cards stand out.

Any ideas?

TurboTony
What booth will you be at there? I will keep an eye out for ya.

Don't forget to make mine too ;)

What about the V8Less logo on 1 side and your contact info on the other. That way the logo is big enough to stand out.

Make it out of Billet Aluminum... and rivets...
Make it larger that everyone elses, make a mini-multi media buisiness card (mini data cd card)
Make a flashy light in it...
Attach it to a mag wheel
Have a string bikini girl distribute them... on the string...

I liek the metal cards, i seen one before and thot those really stood out.

i would make it like a rounded corner rectangle, with bevelled text/image. maybe have the non bevelled parts as an brushed metal look and have the bevelled parts polished and shiney.

The aluminium idea sounds good, but I can't imagain carrying 500 of them.

Tony, let us know where you'll be and we'll meet. We're just attending the conference, not setting up a booth.

What's your flight? We're on Westjet leaving Sunday night.

My dads in printing and says get in touch with Dial Printing, and talk to Craig Macewan.... By the sounds of it he may be able to get you some card for not a llot of money.... although I don't think they'll be aluminum.

Scintillater
don't go Dial. They did ours, and it TOOK FOREVER...cost a FORTUNE...AND they screwed up.

It all depends on how much you wanna spend, and how much time you've got. As for making it stand out, once again, the more you spend, the cooler you can get it. Like clear foiling etc. Or...you might wanna make it some obnoxious color like red or yellow. Black is okay, but many car comapnies have that. So think of something that is different from most car places.

World of Outlaws?

Wow tell us more!

TurboTony
Well, I've worked on sprintcars for several years. For the last few I've helped a guy that races with the outlaws from time to time.

This year I was lucky enough to schedule a trip to take in SEMA and be there for the race as well.

We'll probably be needing something to do everynight after SEMA... :blue:

When time gets closer let's plan a Etown get together during SEMA.

Hey... isn't that slanderous? :D :P

Scintillater
not slanderous...just some friend to friend advice. we were supposed to give them all our business as a supplier, but we were sooooo upset. you have no idea. my rep had to talk to them over and over and over again. not pleased. it'd be slanderous if i was like "go to so and so instead because i vouch purely for them" coz then it's obvious you are trying to get business to go somewhere else.

Scintillater
but hey, it's a free world. if you wanna try, by all means go ahead :P

Hmmm, I went to the one behind the Safeway, damn I can't remember their name... they did our Wedding Invitations...

We were very happy with them, argh... what's the name...
