How much did the chip give you for hp and tq and how badly did it affect fuel economy? Is it one of those ones that you can easily switch back and forth to factory settings? And the 03's have the 36 month warranty, not 24, right?

| SilverZ24, its a full 3 year extended warranty. As for the hp and torque, the chip adds 25 hps and just around 100 foot pounds of torque. Fuel doesnt suffer at all, I still get over 1200 on the highway and 800-1000 in the city. The chip is very easy to disenguage, all you do is unplug it :bthumbup: |

| Stealth, the car is a TDI Diesel, it works primarily on torque. The torque usually over takes the HP by double or more. But hey, who am I to tell you, call up any VW dealership, there are new chips out there that with 205 Euro injectors pushing well over 400 Foot pounds of torque. The pump duse, though not the most reliable eninge because of injector problems can make serious power. My 03 here was the last year before the pump duse and its still capable of making power, just not as much |
