| i have a 98 eclipse GS and i want a turbo kit added on. That is im puttin on a hahn race craft stage 2 turbo kit. I have already just added on new JE pistons and rings that are 20 over and crane camshafts, eagle rods, new howell valves and retainers, a stage 3 clutch masters clutch, cometic head gasket to handle the turbo kit safely. I need someone to tell me what the best place is to go and have my hahn turbo kit installed. which place does the best work. and i heard to go to calgary instead of edmonton for this mainly cause they have better places that will satisfy me more with a job done rite the first time. and done as if it was there own car. Pleas reply and let me know if anyone knows anywhere i could go that they know is good. |

I was told that the welding and wiring that pro drag does is sloppy. i want a good saolid finish thats gonna last. |

Who said this?
This is entirely IMPOSSIBLE, since Pro Drag does not/has not billed out labor for an install.
Zippy's Auto, our authorized installation center, handles all installs. I still would like to know who gave you the review of the work.
Edit: What welding would be required? I have yet to run across a Hahn Kit that requires welding. |

| dont get me wrong i have heard nothin but good about pro drags work on cars. but i heard from one of there customers who took there talon there that there welds are good and strong but they didnt look as good as he was hoping. I think there the the best in edmonton area. im just worried that if there is any welding to do on my car and that i should go to someone who can fabricate any peices for my car and have a good look to them.Im 100% sure that pro drag does good work on cars and they know what there doin. i just havent seen a weld from them. |

4G63 Swap = BIG HEADACHES on a N/A second gen DSM.
Engine design is completely backwards betwen the two versions of the motor. The second Gen DSM N/A motor is essentially a DOHN Neon Motor. |

So who was this customer? You can Private Message me his name if you do not want to make it public.
Once again, Zippy's Auto does all the installs, Pro Drag just sells the GO FAST parts. Pro Drag has not/does not install parts at the present time. That may change in the near future if customer demand keeps up. |

You want to see ugly welds? Take it to midas :p
As far as I know the hahn kits come with everything needed, the only thing that would need to be welded would be the exhaust.. and I dont see that being a show peice..
If i had to choose any shops to work on my car, it'd be the 2 mentioned here.. Prodrag/Zippies being one, Apex being the other.
Props to the shop owners that come out and hang with us at the meets :)

i'm not a big dsm guy so i didn't know the swap was as difficlut as you described. in that case i think you should sell your N/A eclipse and either buy a gsx or a tsi and save your self some cash/headaches that building a motor up that wasn't made for boost. but whatever you decide its your car good luck with the project. oh yeah i bet the guys at prodrag wouldn't mind you dumping 3 or 4g's into their shop to get han racecraft stage 2 turbo and all its accessories. |
