I dont think you are gonna find one particular brand of bike that is stolen more then others, (other than harleys)
Its all about where the bike is kept and how easy it is to steal. |

| What are you the best ways to store and prevent theft on a bike.... IE I got to school @ Grant Mac downtown and if I leave it out front there iwth the other bikes..... what will help me deter theives from stealing it? |

Well no matter what you do if they want the bike they are gonna take it. Most bike thefts they load them in a truck.
Couple options
-an alarm with engine immobilizer and a switch that wil have the alarm go off if its moved
-some sort of wheel lock, they have them out now that are alarmed as well
-use a chain and lock it to a parking meter or some other secure object that you park near.
Thats about it really. As for storing it, if you have a garage thats the best thing you can do. |

| Would I just go to any regular alarm place to have that alarm installed???? |
|
|
| Repsol |
| i go there too... what I do is throw on a brake lock/alarm and another nice thing is the park space is very visible as in all the people who take the bus walk by it. it's decently safe but of course it is downtown and you never know what's gonna happen :( |

Ya...most alarm places will have bike alarms. But make sure it is an alarm specifically for bikes. The components are smaller and they are made more weather proof then a car alarm. |
