so where can you do a u-turn? cane they de doen at a intersection like if you rtrunign left and there is no "no U-turn" sign. or can you do them any where there isn't a sign ?

To answer the question...

In an urban area, you can only undertake a u-turn at an intersection when it is safe to do so, unless it is controlled by traffic signals or has a sign prohibiting the move. Roadway / laneway intersections do not count.

In a rural area, you are able to undertake a u-turn at any point on a straight roadway, providing it is safe to do so.
